Schooling For The Rider: Lesson Bundle One

Welcome to a different approach to your riding!  With these walk lessons we begin your journey into become a more clear, subtle and intuitive rider.

About the lessons

All of these lessons are in walk, although you can even listen to them when you aren't riding too.  Each lesson is recorded so that it is easy to follow and takes once concept at a time.  The longest lessons are around 20 minutes, the shortest 10 minutes.  Why?  So that you can listen to the track and then go off and practice a bit more yourself without me chatting in your ear!

My approach to teaching is anatomical; I work with the rider's body which in turn helps the horse to move more freely. This isn't a schooling programme for your horse - this is a schooling session for you, the rider.

You may already be familiar with my work, if not there are some videos over on my YouTube channel if you wish to watch them before buying this package, to get an idea of how I think and teach.

At all times you are solely responsible for yourself and your horse's wellbeing and safety.  I do strongly suggest riding with one ear piece in rather than two so you can be aware of your surroundings.  By purchasing these tracks you agree that you undertake the activities within them at your own risk.

In order for the lessons to make sense, please try them in the order they are listed below to begin with.

Introduction

My style of teaching encompasses rider anatomy, the benefits of energy and intent in your riding and the impact we, as riders, have on our horses.  These lessons are not schooling for your horse, they are all directed at schooling you, the rider.  I share with you years of experience working with riders of all ages, abilities and disciplines.

I say it frequently in the lessons that time, patience and practice are key with this type of ridden work; both you and your horses are learning a new way of communication.
